Chris Denver is a former CFO, Controller and Chief Audit Executive with experience in business transformation, SEC reporting and technical accounting. In his present role as VP Client Solutions for Robert Half and for Protiviti, Chris is engaging with a number of clients in the Revenue Recognition space, providing strategic consulting services, technical accounting expertise and staff augmentation to ensure his clients meet their compliance objectives under ASC Topic 606.
Chris has deep experience helping clients comply with new technical accounting standards, including: stock option accounting, lease accounting, insurance contracts, and bank loan portfolio. Chris has worked with clients across industries, including: energy, technology, banking, insurance, consumer products, communications, manufacturing, real estate, private equity/venture capital, and non-profit.
Chris holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant. Presently Senior VP of the Chicago Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Chris also sits on the Membership Committee of the Chicago Chapter of the Financial Executives Institute (FEI) and is a long time adult volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America.
